Raul plans to graduate in spring 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Finance with a Certificate in International Business from the W. P. Carey School of Business and Barrett, the Honors College. This past summer, Raul interned with Brightstar Corporation in the treasury department at their world headquarters in Miami, Florida. Raul is also one of ALPFA's 50 National Scholarship Recipients. He has been a scholar for the ASU Maroon & Gold program, the ASU Parents Association, the Hispanic Business Alumni, the ASU Chicano/Latino Faculty and Staff Association Laura Rendón program, the Be a Leader Foundation , and the Michael Osheowitz Investment Banking program. Raul has served as the Marketing Director and VP of Activities for HBSA, Treasurer for El Concilio Student Coalition, Co-Chair for the 2007 El Concilio Conference, Marketing Director for the ASU ALPFA Student chapter and Webmaster for the Phoenix ALPFA Professional chapter. Raul is an active mentor through the Be a Leader Foundation by providing guidance in education and career planning to talented inner-city youth. After graduating, Raul plans to work in the financial services industry for two years, and then attend business school. |
