Michael is studying to gain his bachelor’s in economics with honors from the W. P. Carey School of Business. He has now spent two summers on Wall Street, in 2007 with Citigroup, and in 2008 with Merrill Lynch. Michael has twice been accepted to and participated in the Sponsors for Educational Opportunity Career Program and has served as an Alumni Recruiting Fellow and the Captain of the Corporate Finance Class Gift team. Outside of HBSA, he is a scholar of the Be A Leader Foundation and has spent over two years as a mentor to high school students around the valley. In addition to HBSA, Michael is past Chairman of the Fundraising Committee for Adelante and past Treasurer for the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting. After graduation, Michael will work full-time in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group at Merrill Lynch and intends to pursue his MBA soon thereafter.
