Raul is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance and a Certificate in International Business from the W. P. Carey School of Business and Barrett, the Honors College. This summer, Raul interned with UBS Investment Bank in New York City in the Mergers & Acquisitions group through the Sponsors for Educational Opportunity Career Program. During summer 2008, Raul interned with Brightstar Corporation in the treasury department at their world headquarters in Miami, Florida. Raul is a Michael W. Osheowitz Investment Banking scholar, Solomon D. Trujillo Global Leadership scholar, Dr. Loui Olivas scholar, Be A Leader Foundation scholar, Brian Etheridge Future Leaders scholar, Hispanic Business Alumni scholar and an ASU Parents Association scholar. Raul has served on the executive board since 2007, holding many positions. He is also active with the ASU ALPFA Student chapter board and is the Webmaster for the Phoenix ALPFA Professional chapter. Raul is an active mentor through the President Barack Obama Scholars and the Be A Leader Foundation by providing guidance in education and career planning to talented inner-city youth. After graduating, Raul plans to work in the financial services industry for two years, then attend business school.
